Costa Rica's beauty and abundance is on full display during the dry season December, with ideal warm sun and stunning ocean views. This setting will engage all of the senses, allowing Nature to soften the spirit and shift your consciousness.
Our Radiant Body retreat begins daily with morning practice, that includes ritual, chanting, kundalini yoga, and Buddhist Essence meditation. During afternoon and evening sessions we will cultivate our Inner Fire through visualization, yoga kriyas, pranayama & vase breathing. We will explore archetypal bliss energies and states of consciousness through movement, somatic integration, vocalization, and tribal/community engagement. Flights & Shuttle
From the US: Fly to Liberia, Costa Rica
Flights from Europe: Fly to Liberia or you may need to fly to San Jose, you can then take a small plane to Nosara (45 mins) or get a shuttle (5 hours).
*Shuttle: Shuttle from Liberia or San Jose to Blue Spirit in Nosara. You will be put in touch with Blue Spirit when you register.
Trip Insurance
We strongly recommend that you purchase a cancellation/travel insurance policy to protect your investment, including a “cancel for any reason” rider option. To that end, please read our Unforeseen Circumstance Policy. The travel insurance usually includes Medical Travel Insurance (see below) which will be necessary to enter Costa Rica. Please be sure to check this when purchasing your insurance.

Covid Test Required to Re-Enter US:
The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention has ordered that all travelers flying to the U.S. from abroad will have to show proof of negative Covid-19 tests before boarding their flight starting Jan. 26. The CDC said preflight testing is necessary as Covid-19 cases continue to soar and new, more contagious strains of the virus emerge around the world. Blue Spirit can also administer this test for an additional cost of $160.

Payment & Cancellation Policy:
Full payment is due at the time of registration. $500.00 of that payment is a nonrefundable AND nontransferable deposit.
Our cancellation policy is strict & firm, and there are no exceptions: If you cancel on or before September 1st, 2021, you will forfeit your deposit of $500.00 plus a cancellation fee of $100.00, and the remainder of your payment will be refunded to you. If you cancel after September 1st, 2021 , you will forfeit ALL money rendered.

FAQs
what time should I arrive?
Plan on arriving at Liberia airport sometime in the morning or early afternoon on Saturday, December 18th. Blue Spirit will arrange for a shuttle service for you when you fill out this FORM. You will then arrive at Blue Spirit sometime in the late afternoon, and will have time to settle in before we all meet & greet for dinner. The retreat “officially” ends on the evening of December 24th, with a closing ritual. The next day, you can leave either very early in the morning, or after breakfast, depending on your flight schedule.
Is Kriya yoga experience necessary?
No, the yoga we teach, while it may be challenging to some individuals, will be accessible to practitioners at every level - and modifications will be given. Kriya has 5 aspects of practice: mantra, mudra, pranayama, drishti (gaze), and asana (movement).
What is included in the price?
Prices start at $1,865 US and increase with various lodging options available. Your accommodations at Blue Spirit, all of your meals (with vegetarian and fish options), all lectures, yoga, and evening retreat activities are included.
What about Covid Safety?
Blue Spirit has protocols in place suggested by the World Health Organization (WHO) to ensure the non-propagation of COVID-19. (See more about their protocols HERE.) All attendees will be required to a consent waiver upon their arrival to agree that they understand the nature of the communal gathering, are not experiencing symptoms of COVID-19, and have not had recent exposure to someone who has tested positive for COVID-19.
Can I bring a partner or friend?
Yes! If you have a partner or friend who wants to join the retreat or if your partner wants to stay at Blue Spirit, but skip our program, they are welcome to attend either way. If they do not join the retreat, they can share meals with us, and join you during your free time.
What is not included in this price?
Your transportation to and from Blue Spirit (airfare and shuttle service), spa or excursion services, surf lessons, additional snacks at the juice bar, gift shop purchases, and tips/incidentals. Coivd tests, trip insurance, etc.
Covid-19 Testing: Arriving & Departing?
You will be required to bring with you a negative covid test result taken within 72 hours of your arrival. This is why we highly recommend that you buy trip insurance, just in case your contract Covid before leaving, and must cancel your trip, or for ANY OTHER unforeseen circumstance where the presenters, venue, or governments must cancel or shut down operations. All attendees will be required to test negative to join in on the retreat to ensure the safety of our community. As of January 26th, all travelers returning to the US need to show they have a Negative COVID TEST (within 3 days of arrival) before re-entering the US. To make this process really smooth, Blue Spirit is now offering to all guests an easy onsite COVID test on Wednesday of each week – with results within 2 days – thus prior to flights back on Saturday. This is being done in close collaboration with local CR medical services, so that you can rest assure that you are meeting all the requirements for your travel back home. We are expecting the cost to be around US$140-160.

FAQs
travel, vaccines, money, & water?
You will need a valid passport to travel to Costa Rica, but you will not need a Visa if you are coming from the US, Canada, or the European Union. The drinking water is good at Blue Spirit. No additional vaccines are recommended. If you’re planning to spend time off-site, you may want to get some Costa Rican Colones, although US dollars are widely accepted both at Blue Spirit and in the surrounding community.

places to stay before and after?
The area has many places to stay at all price points. There are budget-friendly hostels, luxury hotels, and yoga retreat properties all within a 30-minute drive of Blue Spirit. If you want to stay for Christmas week, you can stay on at Blue Spirit, or book in town. Here are a few to consider: Harmony Hotel, Gilded Iguana, VRBO, Home Away. We recommend booking these sooner rather than later!
What should I bring?
Beach clothing, yoga clothing, slip-on shoes, sun screen, a hat, sunglasses. You can leave your shampoo and soap at home because Blue Spirit will provide eco-friendly shampoo/conditioner that is easy on their plumbing system. Yoga mats and props are provided, as are pool towels. Please note: There are no laundry facilities, so we recommend packing accordingly - although there is a laundry service in Guiones.
Will I need air conditioning?
Blue Spirit offers lodging options with and without A/C, and the common areas are primarily open-air, with no A/C. If you’re accustomed to a sleeping in a cool environment, you may prefer a lodging option that offers A/C.
Where do I fly into? What is the best way to get to Blue Spirit?
Liberia (LIR) is a 2-hour ride away from the retreat center. You can arrange round-trip shuttle transportation with Blue Spirit, which is very comfortable. (John and Nicole always fly into Liberia). San Jose (SJO), about a one-hour charter flight away or a five-hour car ride.
