Creating a Sacred Space
Create a sacred altar/sacred space in your home or office for your practice sessions.
This retreat runs on Zoom, so be sure to download and sign up for use.
We suggest setting up two meditation areas: one on the floor where you can lie down, and another in a chair for when you need to give your body a break. Since we’ll be spending a lot of time connecting with the earth during this retreat, make sure your floor space has a yoga mat or a thick blanket if you don’t have carpet.
Have a lighter & incense - or Sage, Palo Santo, and/or a candle to light in ritual.
Treat yourself to some flowers for your altar. Keep your altar fresh and tidy.
Use airpods, head phones, or a blue tooth speaker for better sound quality.
Keep a notebook and pen nearby.
Have some tissues handy for pranayama or any tears of emotion that may come up.
Eat light foods during our meal breaks that are easily digestible: vegetarian, fruit, soup, broth.
